Still Dance the Stars

We are beyond excited to host the world premiere of this touching and highly theatrical new play! A powerful love story with extraordinary heart, Still Dance the Stars follows the journey of James and Anne, a married couple facing unthinkable loss. Things go from bad to worse as their beloved dance studio is about to go under. Desperate, they discover an old box of stuffed animals, and the magic unfolds. Can one dance heal what has been broken? Whimsical, heart-warming and imaginative – this brand new play is truly a breathtaking gem! A must-see for dance-lovers! (Please note this production contains strong language and is recommended for ages 13+)

"...Unlike anything I've seen before. As someone who sees a lot of theater, that's a rare occurrence...a heart-wrenching and heart-warming story of grief, love, and family...Vanessa Wasche and Zachary Stofer are both so real, raw, and empathetic as the grieving couple, as they break your heart one minute and make you laugh the next....The cast and creative team do a beautiful job of bringing the play to life with all of its humor, grace, silliness, and beauty."– Cherry and Spoon

"A talented cast...exceptional acting...[Emily] Madigan is thoroughly delicious as the dirt-seeking interviewer and watching her is a guilty pleasure!" – Twin Cities Arts Reader
